The Power of Gratitude in Human Connection

I think it is fair to say that almost all of us are seeking to connect with our fellow human beings. And in this connection, we need/want to feel safe, seen, appreciated, respected, valued and even loved.

I cannot help think/feel that human connection, at least for me, can be as simple as consciously setting aside time to reflect: who has contributed to the gift that is my life?; what contribution has this person made to my life?; have I, recently, reminded this person of his/her contribution?; and how can I express this gratitude in a way that touches the heart-mind of this person?

Recently, I found my heart-mind deeply touched! I received a gift. A gift that gave my spirit wings so that it flew high. A gift that touched my heart so deeply that tears of joy bathed my cheeks. This gift came from my daughter Clea – the person for whom these conversations, this blog, is dedicated.

I share this gift with you in the hope that it touches your heart-mind and encourages you to express your gratitude in a way that creates connection and joy.
